The course will be conducted during the school year for high school juniors and seniors, and will follow the textbook. Two semesters will be offered, with each semester corresponding to a typical school semester, for three hours a week. Multiple days may be offered, depending on demand. Students should have a strong ability with math, but will only need a solid foundation in algebra for the course. Students will model extensively in Excel.

Students must bring a laptop with wifi connectivity, and must purchase the textbook and an HP 12c Platinum financial calculator.

PowerPoint presentations will be conducted during class, and made available to the students. Students will participate in interactive financial exercises on the Internet. Various exercises and demonstrations will be conducted. Students will be graded based on homework, projects, exams, presentations, and participation. Students will also be encouraged to begin developing their own financial habits and materials at home.
